At the Jofre yard, CN classifies and reroutes cars coming from and going eastbound to eastern Quebec and Canada and westbound to Montreal, Toronto and Chicago. In the Quebec region, CN has facilities in Charny, Sainte-Foy and Limoilou and the Joffre Yard is pivotal to railroad traffic in center Quebec.
